Hi, I'm Alicia.
I'm a professional problem solver.

Senior technical product manager
By day, you'll find me enabling and empowering teams at Bell Canada. I solve problems at the intersection where business goals, human needs, and technology meet. I currently also serve on the technical committee for the design and delivery of programs and services with Accessibility Standards Canada. I also serve on the Board of Directors for YouthLeadArts, Access 2 Accessibility and the Universal Design Network of Canada. In my spare time, you'll find me engaging with the accessibility and design communities and, taking on passion projects like the A11y Project.
I am an IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies and I am also a Certified Scrum Master.
Professional problem solver
Generally speaking, If you ask me what I do, I am a profesional problem solver. I study behaviour and trends to help clients deliver innovative products and services that delight. Driven by a deep curiosity about the interactions between humans and technology, I take a human-centered, big-picture approach — applying skills that I've learned and applied since my membership with The War Amps; as well as, the completion of my Bachelor with Honours degree in Criminology from York University.
Inclusive service designer
I re-branded the Accessibility Services Centre at Bell, founded the Diversability at Bell employee resource group, and created the Inclusive Design practice at RBC because as a woman living with disabilities, I think all people deserve to be treated as valuable customers and team members, not treated as just a legal checkbox or a risk to be mitigated.
